MID-DAY STROLL

When the kids are back in school, time always seems to get the best of me.  There never seems to be enough time in the day to do the things I really enjoy, like taking pics! So, on a school day, I dared to be ambitious and take a stroll. You might say I "escaped". My mother-in-law was in town so I took her along to some of my favorite spots. It was nice to spend a wonderful but brief afternoon with the seagulls. Also, to my pleasant surprise a manatee was waiting for me. I guess he knew I was coming as he posed for the camera and played peek-a-boo with the crowd.  

All in all it was a wonderful afternoon. It is true what they say "the best things in life are free".
